Harbinger Group Inc. Announces Pricing of the Secondary Common Stock Offering by Selling Stockholders
NEW YORK -December 13, 2012 - Harbinger Group Inc. ("HGI" or the "Company"; NYSE: HRG) today announced its registered secondary public offering of 20,000,000 shares of HGI common stock by Harbinger Capital Partners Master Fund I, Ltd., Harbinger Capital Partners Special Situations Fund, L.P. and Global Opportunities Breakaway Ltd., has been priced at $7.50 per share. The selling stockholders have also granted the underwriters an option for 30 days to purchase up to an additional 3,000,000 shares. As previously announced, the Company will not sell any shares or receive any proceeds from the offering.
Jefferies & Company, Inc. is serving as sole book-running manager and Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. is serving as co-manager.
